Expaterience by RTV Discus

Expaterience started in spring 2025

The initiative was launched at the request of PEP, The Hague (Den Haag Doet) as a talk show about the day-to-day experiences of expats and internationals in Greater The Hague.

The program covered both successes and challenges in life and work.

Expaterience is the intellectual property and given name by RTV Discus.

RTV Discus produces TV programs such as Zaterdag Live, Escampjournaal and Expaterience.

In March 2026, after roughly one year of broadcasts, the RTV Discus Board put Expaterience on hold across all channels, including all social media.

The RTV Discus Board will reconsider further broadcasting later in 2026, after its summer recess.

All activities, using the name Expateriene with a different logo, under a different sub name or font other than the one published on

Den Haag Doet and on this website

are in breach with RTV Discus's legal ownership
